What is an Implant Application? What are its advantages?
Implants are artificial tooth roots that are placed on the jawbone to hold prostheses. These artificial tooth roots are made to replace missing teeth and can be used for a long time. Implants placed in the jawbone by experienced physicians in a sterile environment with a small surgical procedure can attach to the jaw bone in about 2-3 months and can carry the prostheses. However, to apply an implant, the bone structure must be suitable and the gums must be healthy. If these conditions are not met, implants can still be made with high success by additional bone surgery applications.
The biggest advantage of implants is having fixed teeth that are almost the same as natural teeth instead of the missing teeth. Implant teeth can be used for many years under suitable conditions and if made by experts. Oral and dental care play an important role here.
All-On-4 Application
The All-On-4 technique allow to make prostheses containing all arch teeth with only 4 implants in one jaw in edentulous patients. It is done when the jawbone does not allow more implants with a special opening technique. The All-On-4 technique has been applied for 10 years and its success has been proven by long-term scientific studies, and patients achieve their desired smile aesthetics and function by an easy, fast, and satisfying treatment.
