CAN DENTAL EXTRACTION AND IMPLANT BE DONE IN THE SAME DAY?
Yes, but in some cases where sinus lifting and bone grafting are need, implant treatment is applied after waiting until the desired level of the bone is reached.

WHEN SHOULD I START BRUSHING MY TEETH AFTER A SURGERY?
After 24 hours, you can start brushing gently with a soft brush.

WHICH IS MORE SUITABLE FOR THE EMPTY AREAS, IMPLANTS OR COATING?
The lost teeth are replaced with implants, veneers or removable dentures. Which treatment will be appropriate is determined by many factors such as the condition of the adjacent teeth, the condition of the jawbone, and the general health condition. Depending on the conditions, implant, veneer and removable prosthesis are always prefered and prioritized, respectively.

IS MY JAW BONE SUITABLE FOR IMPLANT?
Whether the jawbone is suitable for the implant procedure or not depends on many factors. Factors such as the general health status of the patient, the structure of the bone, and adjacent anatomical structures. The most reliable evaluation method for the complete evaluation of the jawbone is the dental tomography devices that provide 3D imaging, which are also available in all our clinics. Thanks to these devices, the area to be implanted is evaluated with three-dimensional imaging to see if it is suitable for the implant.

WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO APPLY THE PROSTHESIS AFTER IMPLANT IS DONE?
After the implants’ procedure, approximately 8-10 weeks are waited for the prosthesis stage. During this time, the implants are fully fused with the bone. After the implants are fully fused and attached to the bone, they become usable and the prosthesis is fitted.

SHOULD I TREAT IMPLANTS LIKE NATURAL TEETH, HOW SHOULD I TAKE CARE OF THEM?
Implants act just like natural teeth and can be treated and cared for the same way you do with your natural teeth. The long-term success of implants depends on the patient's meticulous care. As we brush our normal teeth, we should be careful to brush the implants too and to avoid food residue and plaque. The use of mouthwash will help a lot along the brush in the routine care.

WHAT WILL BE DONE IF THE JAW BONE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR IMPLANT?
In patients whose jawbone is not suitable for implant, bone powder is applied to make the bone suitable for implant. If it is thought that this treatment will not respond, then veneer and removable prosthesis options should be considered.

HOW SHOULD MOVABLE PROSTHESIS TAKEN CARE OF?
The removable prosthesis should not be used during the whole day for 24 hours, it should be removed before going to sleep at night and kept in water. Standard toothpastes cause deterioration and discoloration of the denture polish, so denture cleaning tablets should be used at regular intervals. Cleaning of dentures should always be done outside the mouth.

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO PATIENTS WHO ALWAYS HAVE THEIR LOWER JAW PROSTHESIS MOVING?
In addition to the effect of the cheek and lip on the lower jaw, tongue movements are also included, so patients generally complain that the lower jaw prosthesis does not stop moving. Two implants to be applied to the lower jaw, the prosthesis is attached to these implants and its movement and so its movement is being limited.

WHAT IS THE LIFE SPAN OF A DENTAL CROWN?
The life span of the crowns/veneers depends on the care patients show for the crowns. If the crowns/veneers are not well taken care of and cleaned constantly, problems such as gingival recession and decay under the crown/veneer may occur. But generally  with good aftercare, the  crown/veneer  can live for up to 10 years.
